"Volunteering at METRO for me, enables me to help people in our community who need our help and support. Not only that, it grounds me after a day in the office, allows me to meet and interact with service users, gives me the opportunity to work with some great, driven people at METRO, and allows me to be a part of the great work METRO does. I was thrilled to see that HSBC offered a 'Pound for Pound' scheme; volunteering allows me to provide time to the organisation, but to help with much needed funding is an added bonus.
