A look into elderly women living with HIV
Researcher, advocate and human rights activist Jacqui Stevenson has shared her experience carrying out research on women aging with HIV in London.
According to Stevenson, “stigma is rooted in poor knowledge about HIV among the general public and even in health and social care settings, that feeds discrimination, and creates particular worry for older women around accessing care as they get older”.
